Thankyou so much for taking time to continually update your blog. I have spent my evening reading through from the begining. My husband has aspergers and it has been such an eye opener for me to read how you have lived your life and your perspective too. It’s kind of weird to discover there’s a name for something you’ve had all your life, but couldn’t quite define, isn’t it?

I always crack up remembering the time you and I got carried away in that Chinese restaurant in Tyler…boisterously acting out our favorite Chinese waiter misunderstandings. Our wives were not amused–nor was the waiter.

Thanks so much for responding. I’m glad you’ve taken time to read a bit about my perspective on the subject of Asperger Syndrome. I know it’s hard sometimes to understand the “other side,” but I assure you, it’s no less difficult for those of us over here. I do approach this blog with tongue-in-cheek, though at times I either try or am compelled to delve into life’s little annoyances seriously. My wife and I have learned that laughter is a great medicine for what ails thee or me. I wish with all my heart to be an inspiration to those grappling with this issue, and perhaps bring a little light-hearted moment to your week. If I ever get up the gumption, I intend to finish a book on the subject. But, for now, if I can just get a few thousand people to read my blog, at least that’s a start. I think I’m only a few thousand people away from my goal right now.
Hang in there, and tell all your friends about “Mark’s Fun House,” …better known as glitchbucket.com.
I appreciate your every thought, so don’t hold back. I realize I’m only one person on a very broad specturm, and value your in-field experience more than you know.

My husband is currently being evaluated for AS. I learned of your blog through another woman who’s husband receives it and decided to look into it.

I’ve appreciated reading your posts and gaining an insight into at least 1 perspective of an AS man. You’re charmingly funny and I can also see how you probably drive your dear wife absolutely nuts as my dh does me. But then again, we drive you pretty crazy too don’t we?! lol

Thank you. This post was especially needed right now for it’s lightheartedness and yet mini-view into an AS person’s way of thinking.

How many AS people does it take to screw in a light bulb? 1 of course, why would you even ask?!
